Gety ready to enter a gender-discombobulating, stiletto-shaped world, as High Queen of Ireland and gay rights activist, Panti Bliss, brings her 'High Heels in Low Places' show to Australia in February next year.
On three consecutive shows in Adelaide—as part of Adelaide Fringe—and an evening in Perth, Panti will expose the stories behind the make-up, to reveal the National Treasure she is today.
"Courageous and hilariously honest..." - Ed Fest Mag
"5 Stars" - TV Bomb
"Sharp, radical, perceptive, hilarious and full of fun" - The Scotsman
Panti landed herself in a legal storm, dubbed 'Pantigate', in 2014. Her speech about homophobia went viral worldwide, remixed by Pet Shop Boys, caused a parliamentary meltdown, and fed into Ireland’s marriage equality referendum success.
Hilarious and touching, Panti traces her journey from small-town boy kicking against traditions; to towering plastique woman in false lashes making history.
High Heels in Low Places played to packed houses and met rave reviews in London, Dublin, New York, Paris, Edinburgh and beyond.
