In just eleven days the Thin White Duke’s return to music will be celebrated with an exhibition at Jurassic Lounge in Sydney.
London-born, Sydney-based airbrush artist DC (Danny Christopher) Willans has used a photorealism body airbrushing technique to create artworks that recreate three of Bowie's iconic looks.
Willans fans include the late Amy Winehouse who commissioned a portrait; the work now resides in her family home. Although Willans exhibits his work every few months, The Changing Faces Of David Bowie is a must-see for anyone still beaming at his career revival.
The Changing Faces Of David Bowie takes place on April 16 from 5:30pm at Jurassic Lounge in Australian Museum in Sydney.
