The Breeders have announced they will be performing their 1993 record Last Splash in Sydney, Perth and Brisbane, along with their appearance at the ATP-driven Release The Bats festival in Melbourne.
It'll be the lineup that actually recorded the album as well–Kim Deal, Kelley Deal, Jim Macpherson and Josephine Wiggs–which isn't always guaranteed with these Don't Look Back style tours.
The band will also be playing other songs from their catalogue (their excellent cover of Happiness Is A Warm Gun, for example) and considering this incarnation of the band split in 1995, it's safe to say they may never come back. Ever!
Pre-sale tickets are available from 12pm today, with general public tickets on sale noon tomorrow.
