The lineup and date for this year’s triple j One Night Stand festival has been announced, with wildly popular Sydney producer Flume to make his regional debut in the headlining slot.
The announcement was closely followed by news today that Flume's own Sydney and Melbourne shows sold out almost instantly this morning (new dates have now been added to the tour).
Joining him at the One Night Stand are Unearthed faves The Rubens (who also recently announced a huge national tour), Brisbane indie pop heroes Ball Park Music and Melbourne-based MC Seth Sentry.
The free, all-ages festival is scheduled to hit a regional town - to be revealed next week - on April 13.
In 2013 the festival celebrates its tenth year of bringing live, Australian music to young fans in remote and regional areas. Previous hosting towns include Collie (WA), Cowra (NSW), Dalby (QLD), Tumby Bay (SA), Alice Springs (NT), Ayr (QLD), Port Pirie (SA), Sale (VIC) and Natimuk (VIC). For the first time this year, the festival will be broadcast over the radio as well as triple j tv so fans all over the country can enjoy it too.
Stay tuned to find out this year’s winning town, set to be announced on March 6.
