2Cellos - Celloverse Tour 2016

After selling out their Australian Tour last year, prepare to be swept away once again by music’s most electric and dynamic instrumental duo, 2Cellos, as they return in November for a national concert tour – performing music from their album Celloverse and other favourites from their catalogue.

The duo will fill venues in Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane and Melbourne with their genre-bending musicality and ecstatic instrumentation.

With a continuously growing fan base, the duo's love of classical and contemporary music is on show on stage where they play everything from Bach and Vivaldi to their much loved AC/DC.

2Cellos broke into international fame in 2011 after their version of Michael Jackson’s “Smooth Criminal” went viral. The Croatian cellists, Luka Sulic and Stjepan Hauser, continue to wow their fans with dynamic music videos and covers of today’s most classic and popular songs. Most recently their Baroque inspired, yet high octane head-banging video of AC/DC’s “Thunderstruck” garnered over 45 Million views to date. The duo returned to their rock roots on their 2015 critically-acclaimeD third album, Celloverse.

2Cellos has redefined the boundaries between different genres of music, from classical and film music to pop and rock. They have sold out shows around the globe and also performed with Sir Elton John as part of his band, as well as opening his shows to rapturous acclaim.

2016 marks 2Cellos' 5th anniversary and marked the occasion with a huge open air show to 50,000 people in their hometown of Zagreb earlier this summer. The last 5 years saw them bask on some incredible career highlights including a performance on Glee and appearances on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Today Show, The Tonight Show, and The Bachelor Live Wedding Special.
