★★★★ - Mumble Comedy

Belinda Anderson-Hunt is introducing you to her favourite enemies, all played by her.

A delectably nightmarish hour of character comedy you won’t want to wake up from, The Sun and The Hermit is Belinda’s highly anticipated, perpetually procrastinated MICF solo debut.

Squeeze a month’s worth of weird into a delightfully beautiful hour, all while Belinda quietly cradles you like the adult baby, lover of strangeness, and person who thrives on constant stimulation that you are.

It’s David Lynch meets Maria Bamford.

It’s Beatrix Potter meets The Exorcist.

It’s like a Studio Ghibli film but your eyes are on fire.

Since going AWOL from the army to study at the infamous French clown school Gaulier (the same one Sacha Baron Cohen went to), Belinda has both delighted, and given audiences brainworms in Los Angeles, London, Paris, Edinburgh, New York and right across Australia.

Diamonds are made under pressure, and Belinda certainly put a lot of pressure on herself to write this show. Now she’s rich! Not in diamonds, but in charmingly surreal characters.

“A bats%*t crazy, yet strangely beautiful hour of extremely masterful clown and character work from one of Melbourne's top silly billies.” - Isaac Haigh (Best Newcomer, Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2023).

“A perfect representation of everything I love about comedy." - Aiden Willcox (Best Newcomer, Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2023).

“She talks about array of different topics”. - Sam Campbell
