Artist Change: JMQ Jazz features Fem Belling + Anton Delecca

FEM burst onto the Melbourne Jazz Scene, after a sojourn in London, with her exquisite, versatile voice and powerful stage presence, lending authenticity, creativity and something extra special to jazz. A born performer and daughter of a jazz pianist, Fem throws her own spin on jazz standards and paying homage to the Jazz Greats. She showcases her passion for scatting and her sheer joy of making music, with class, sophistication and diversity.

ANTON is a saxophonist and composer (and dog lover!) who has led his own bands for over 25 years and recently released his fifth album. In late 2019 he returned from living in New York for two years where I completed a Masters in Music in Jazz Studies at the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College.
Over the years he has played with some American greats including Arthur Blythe, Odean Pope, Wycliffe Gordon and Maceo Parker in a performance at the 2018 Melbourne International Jazz Festival.
